One of the incredibly remarkable informal waste collectors that we have the privilege of working alongside in our mission of creating a better future for our planet and it’s people.

Having been born into a family that was economically disadvantaged, Laxmavva’s life has been far from easy. But despite the trials she’s had to face, her resilience, strength and hope for a better future always shone through.

At Plastics For Change, we’ve been able to help her gain access to social identity, banking and health services, financial literacy training and COVID relief. And her children are also studying at our after school classes!

Today, you can invest in her and her family’s future as she continues to work hard on the front lines of our fight against plastic pollution. By offsetting with us, your contribution goes directly to Laxmavva’s bank account.
